Description
A bioengineering project that began when the Thelyn acquired a Grox tissue sample, safely separated from their predominantly mechanical makeup. By engineering a biological relative to the Grox, one that could survive in a standard T1+ Class habitat, the Thelyn hoped to indirectly learn more about the Galaxy's most feared, and most enigmatic species.
Prior to the project's commencement, there was much controversy over the fact that so much Thelyn DNA had to be spliced into the Grox sample to make the resulting creature stable in anything other than a T0 Class environment. To this day, the scientific community don't know whether they are studying the hypothetical origins of the Grox, or the hypothetical origins of their OWN species.
