Description
As the last stage of the Pani's evolution, the red parasitic algae became more specialized, by clumping together supplying energy to and around certain organs, resulting in the Pani losing their redness allowing them to aquire more vibrant colours.

I don't mean to correct you more here, but for the algae to be parasitic it would need to harm or give nothing back to the host. It's Symbiotic, because it supplies the host with resources and energy in exchange for a place to live.
