This is the Underworld caves. Home to the Fairy Creatures. Perhaps one of them would help you if you spoke to them.

ACT 5 : Deeper Into Underworld
You'll have to head deeper into Underworld to find the Gnome's cousin. He'll help you find the Elves.

Find the Forgotten Temple, and get the Shaman's staff. Bring it to Gangly and he'll tell you where the Elves live.

Ask Gangly where the Stronghold is. Then speak with the elves to find a way out of Underworld.
