In the wild animals consume the waste of others all the time. I doubt dragons are supposed to, but that doesn't eliminate it as possible.

So maybe he feeds them the food others don't need any more. Nobody likely leaves ay scraps, so I am indeed reffering to waste products. It sounds gross, is gross, but has logical reasoning.

How does he feed them? It... might bee too disturbing to talk about. Nonetheless, it could be normal foods. But others need that food too. So I doubt it's anything normal. Plus, e would need to keep them somewhat fat to get any good meat off of them.

The Hole would be the perfect place to hide such a deed, if it even needs hiding. Maybe dragons just get to a point where the screams from the hole don't swerve their appetite. Plus, I'm sure The Hole residents gave up on screaming long ago.
