Descripción
The larval stage of the Arthutheon. Adult female Arthutheon lay about a dozen eggs in small leaf enclosures built onto trees and shrubs. When the larvae hatch, they first consume their eggshell before eating their way out of the leaf enclosure they hatched in. The larvae feed on the leaves of various plants until they are ready to pupate. On their backs, the larvae are armored and have structures covered in tiny spines that deliver painful stings when touched.
