Cutting down on the length of description/number of tags helps for me. Sometimes I turn down my game's settings when saving it and then turn them back up to share; I like to think that helps, but probably not.

did you use the "freedom" cheat to make the creation? ever since the latest patch many users have had difficulty uploading complex creations

Hmm, well then I'm not sure. Every other fix I've tried involves logging off and on until it finally shares, and if that didn't work for you, then I don't know what would aside from the traditional "turn the game off and back on again".

It isn't just one creation, and I already tried that. It happens to everything including creations with a single tag

Oh, this happens to me sometimes! The only consistency I notice is it usually happens when the description and tags are near the character limit. When this happens, I edit the creation, cut down the text, and re-save it, and that usually fixes it for me.

I can still send and receive comments as well as downloading things- it only logs me out as soon as I press share.

It could also be a connectivity issue which would auto-log-you-out - even if you're in the middle of playing the game. You wouldn't know until you did something that needed the connection, like uploading or downloading creations.

It's not one specific creation, and I've tried absolutely everything involving logging on and off. I seemed to have found a workaround though- I can share a creation after leaving a comment on something.

I used to get that. Logging in immediately after it logs you out and trying again usually works. Check if it's only a specific creation that isn't sharing. If yes there may be a glitched part.
