The Lotus 101 was Team Lotus's entry for the 1989 F1 season.Gérard Ducarouge's departure during 1988 had necessitated the former Williams aerodynamicist Frank Dernie to be appointed as Technical Director.The car was powered by a 3.5 litre engine.
