The Lotus 88 was an innovative ground effect F1 car designed by Colin Chapman,Peter Wright,Tony Rnudd and Martin Ogilvie of Lotus in an effort to maximise the downforce produced by ground effect cars.It was used for the 1981 season.Driven by Nigel Mansell.
