The Sovereign line began as a designation for the official pattern used by Ultimus Avas Irrita, the line has since swelled to include all manner of machines, from mighty warships such as this Frigate, all the way down to a popular line of Remote Control toys.

This particular Frigate has been outfitted for escort and combat duties, it has an outer hull composed of a adamantine-titanium composite that is almost impervious to light fighter craft weapons such as 20 mm auto-guns, although fusion-photon missiles can cause some minor damage to the vessel, heavier ordinance such as that seen on destroyers e.g. Heavy MAC guns, Plasma Cannons and Thermonuclear Warheads will cause significant structural damage to the craft.

This Frigate is also great for deploying Militus Legions of both Soldiers and Machine-Craft, it has four upper landing bays for small space/aircraft and a lower landing bay for larger machines such as drop ships.

Crews of Frigates like this are composed of no less than 100 crew members to operate the vessel, each is managed by a designated Irrita-Centur (Ship Captain) and a resident 'Smart A.I.' that is critical for the ships function. An Irrita-Cohor security detail made up of 300 Avas Militus ensure physical security and internal defence against boarding parties.

This particular model has at it's bow a powerful 'Justice Gun' that fires a magnetically accelerated depleted uranium slug as it's primary defence against other ships, the Justice Gun also makes a great orbital support weapon. Under slung from the Justice Gun are four 'Adjudicator' Ultra-Heavy Plasma artillery weapons that while they can engage other ships effectively, their main use is for ground support.

Adjacent to and above the deck is a glorious pair of twin linked 100 mm 'Praetor-Guard' Auto-Guns that can make the sky alight with a hell storm of fully automatic 100 mm flak munitions, the Praetor-Guard weapons are mainly used for fending off fighters, they are relatively useless in ship-to-ship combat due to most Warships being generally immune to small projectiles such as the kind found in flak, although some Irrita-Centur may use them in this fashion regardless, either as a distraction or out of desperation.

This style of Frigate can also go planet-side and operate at the atmospheric level, with their abundant supportive weapons and awe inspiring appearance, they are a welcome sight to Militus Legions on the ground, while in a planets atmosphere, these Frigates are held aloof and stabilised by gravity generators.
