Junkers Ju-322 Mammut - Deutscher schwerer Lastensegler aus dem 2. Weltkrieg, der als Konkurrenzmodell zur Me-321 entworfen wurde und wie diese einen Panzer IV oder 200 voll bewaffnete Soldaten tragen sollte. Es gab kein ausreichend starkes Schleppflugzeug, und die Maschine selbst stellte sich auch als extrem schwierig zu fliegen heraus. Darüberhinaus war die Landung in England schon gestrichen, also wurde die Maschine nicht weiterentwickelt. / German heavy assault glider from WW2. Junkers was ordered to build this plane as competition to the Messerschmitt 321; it had to carry a load of 200 fully equipped soldiers or one Panzer IV. The plane proved unflyable, there was no suitable tow plane available and the landing in England was already cancelled, so this aircraft was scrapped as well.
