Z'hgutha are vicious carnivores from Aerdrol's blue plains region. When the idea of "evolution" was first being tossed around by Ashthi scientists, it was believed that the Ashthi were closely related to the Z'hgutha due to their similar appearance and diet. This is, however, not the case. Though Ashthi and Z'hgutha can trace their roots back to a distant common ancestor, the Ashthi are more closely related to tree-dwelling carnivores.
