Spiralistic: Attach a connector piece, put a base peice onto it, rotate the connecter, then use CTRL or Shift click and move it away. then delete the connector.

Wait wait wait, There's no way you could construct that ramp on the side and those slants at the bottom of the building out of connectors- they came clean off when I tried to figure out what they were in edit mode.
