These devices are a must-have for every large vessel. This Generator injects plasma between a powerful magnetic field created by its spinning inner and outer rings in opposite directions. The result is a directional shield that can deflect all but the most devastating blows. Two or more of these units can completely encase a ship for total protection. The only drawbacks in this configuration are that the ship within the shell cannot fire weapons and cannot use propulsion systems. The Generator is also able to unleash a powerful plasma cannon when it has its shield disengaged.

A fantastic design, and a great description. The blue lights at the front really give it an erie qaulity in the darkness of space.
