-->If you enjoy this creation please rate it on spore.coml-- Darfna are a timid species of bog dwelling herbivore. Being amphibious they can be found quite often in the shallower waters near the edges of the pools and lagoons they inhabit. Darfna feed on all types of aquatic plants, but their absolute favorites are the dense and slimy beds of algae that are so plentiful in the near stagnant swampy waters of their homes. Their powerful limbs make them excellent swimmers, making them quite comfortable in the deeper waters where they build their homes. Darfna live in small family groups of two to three generations, together they construct for themselves a floating residence from logs and tree limbs woven together to form a sort of small barge and anchored in place by lengths of vines from the forest, or long stalks of bog weed growing from below. The portion of the Darfna?s barge above the surface is covered with jagged sharpened and broken sticks positioned to protect their home, the entrance is located on the bottom of the floating haven designed to be entered by diving to the bottom and swimming up inside.
