This looks like something that belongs on a playground. Kids could sit on it and spin around. Anyway it does look neat!

@ Thank you for commenting, Manifestation. If I changed the colors, it might make a good 'futuristic monument'. Right now, it looks more like a children's toy. ;-)

I don't know what it is either, but to me it screams 'futuristic monument'. I do think it looks rather good this way though...
