Ever wondered why an eel Pokémon can't learn surf? Well Electric Eels generate electricty which they discharge into the water surrounding them. Electric Eels, not being true eels, but knifefish, have to come up to the surface to breathe or the WILL DROWN

why isnt eelectross a water type. electric eels at least LIVE in water. also eelectros can have the ability levitate. floating eels will kill us all
