Description
VBS-029 is a bioweapon created by Veilcorp Corporation that is now currently contained in the underground facility levels of Obsidian Tower, a massive lone skyscraper located in the arctic that serves as Veilcorp?s headquarters for biological weapons research, development and containment, it is also the largest and most important bioweapon facility of the corporation. The VBS-029, nicknamed ?Crimson Centaur? has the ability to infect humans with its own virus, called the VBS-29 Strain, through stabbing with its appendages. If the victim dies from the stab, the infection process can reach its final stage in just a matter of minutes before he/she will be reanimated. If the victim survives the stab, he/she will have 13 hours to find an antidote and cure the infection. During the First Blackbell-Veilcorp War, the VBS-029 was once unleashed by Veilcorp to wreak havoc on one of Blackbell Corporation?s airbases in the Silvercrest Mountains, where it slaughtered and infected a third of the airbase?s personnel before being driven off back to the nearby sewer system where it came from. Blackbell responded the bioattack by commencing a stratospheric bombing operation to destroy one of Veilcorp?s bioweapon facilities in the Falkenreach Region, although Veilcorp?s high altitude jetfighters and anti-aircraft systems managed to intercept 40% of the attacking forces.
