Description
The Eidolon class cruiser features a devastating frontal weapon suite, which is comprised of anywhere between 12 and 21 guns depending on the configuration. Unfortunately its other firing arcs are underwhelming, and a missile-based variant was planned but never completed. It is also notable for the six years that it took to design, causing it to have one of the worst budget overflows in recorded naval history.
