Description

lA Sildramander civilian without a Furnace Suit> "We can never understand how some species can stand such low temperatures on their beaches. Yet at such times they are so popular, why?" Sildramanders comes from The Anrobau Cluster on the planet of Quetaz, a lava world of immense temperatures. As such Sildramanders can survive and thrive on planets of scorching temperatures. But as a result will often freeze to death on planets regular temperatures without a Furnace Suit. While on lava worlds, Sildramanders embrace the immense heat, enjoying a brief lava swim and heat collecting or ore mining. Sildramanders are very inquisitive and prefer all the facts hating the ideals of surprise and the unknown so it is known for Sildramanders to ask more questions than give answers. It is this nature that has made them an excellent diplomatic species making sure they know everything that one could possibly want to know....... and then some. Sildramanders diplomacy has often played a heavy part in the species for they often trade and work with other species due to their original empire's location among other species within The Anrobau Cluster. Sildramanders main exploits are heat energy and Solar Ore. Many ships within The Anrobau Cluster use heat powered cores which is are a popular and environmentally friendly power source which The Sildramanders have easily profited on. Ever since joining The Coalition, heat sales have almost tripled due to environmentally friendly species wanting a cleaner way across space. Their other major source of income is Solar Ore, an unusual metal found only on lava worlds close to stars. It's used primarily on shielding modules usually more powerful than regular ones, Solar Ore is also a strong material for certain arcanological devices. Due to the problems of collecting Solar Ore and the uses it can have it is valued at a greater rate than Purple Spice. Needless to say Sildramanders are quite the wealthy empire despite recent technologies able to harvest Solar Ore just as effective as they can. They are members of The Coalition of United Species and are found across it's member planets. Sildramander's are normally working in some sort of business or on a diplomatic mission, tourism is also a passion of theirs. While Sildramander's are primarily found on high temperatures planets, they can be found on any planet that business takes them to. As long as they have a Furnace Suit but they are never go on ice worlds for the cold is far too much for them even in their suits. Sildramander diplomats work closely to Coalition negotiations with neutral planets and with The Sovereignty with varying degrees of success. Many Sildramander's hate The Shining Legion often being extremely critical on the negative publicity they get. Sildramander's consider them nothing more than a group of thugs that bully others into thinking only the legion can handle such evils all the while hoarding all the secrets it know's to itself. While some Sildramanders have joined the legion, most would be happy to see it disbanded or annexed in the coalition.

You have again gotten noticeably more peaceful in Your creations recently. This one is a very plausible beast for a scorched planet - its body chemistry however cannot be carbon-based, it seems. What do they use, molten iron, silicone or something else?
