Description
To test the limits of their bio-engineering abilities, the Zylat'loka created this monster, named X-27. It has intelligence that rivals that of young Zylat'loka (which is still fairly high), strength and ferocity of a wild beast, and specially engineered bio-weapons and enhancements that allowed the X-27 monsters to escape captivity and wage eventual war on their creators. They have a special arm that has the power to crush steel vehicles, slice bone, and attract mates. Another shorter, but sharper weapon on the left wrist can cut into most metals. The whiskers all over their body can detect minute changes in chemicals in the air which alerts them of attacks from other creatures before they even happen. The right eye is a highly advanced natural eye that can see twice the colors and four times further than the Zylat'loka. The left eye is a bio-engineered specialty eye that only sees the infrared spectrum (essentially allowing the X-27s to see through lightly-woven clothing, plastics, and other materials) for an effect similar to "x-ray vision". Eventually these monstrosities became too dangerous for the Zylat'loka after their escape and guerilla warfare. As many as possible were trapped and sent to another planet to live as the dominant species.
