The whole time, keep holding forward arrow, spacebar, and left mouse button, and if done properly, you should begin and continue to vertically rise.

(keep holding those two buttons the whole time) 2) once in the air, click and then let go of right mouse button (just click) and then (while still in air) click and hold the left mouse button and pull up.

So, the glitch: 1) begin moving forward (forward arrow) and then press and hold spacebar once, also holding the forward button all the while.
