Description

The Egomax evolved in the relatively peaceful pink spice pools of the planet Ego. Unlike other races in which competition drove evolution, the Egomax enjoyed the ecological rarity of being at the top of the food chain throughout their evolution. This gave the Egomax an over-developed sense of superiority as they sloshed around in their pink pools thinking great thoughts. It wasn't until another space-faring race crashed and sank in one of those pink pools (killing many Egomax) did these pink blobs realize they weren't alone in the universe. Worse, their soft squishly legless bodies were vulnerable to attack from these outsiders. This sparked a technological revolution on planet Ego (fueled by technology from the crash - though the Egomax won't admit it). Now the Egomax stomp around in great biomechanical suits and roam the galaxy looking for other races to whom they can preach (mostly about themselves) to.
